Zack Kopp is a freelance writer who blends social and political themes with raw, wild soul from the bottom of the can. He leads MightyMercury.com, the experimental partner site to dscriber that hosts short fiction, verse, art, photography and commentary.

He currently reviews books and conducts interviews of authors for The Examiner in Denver and has long served as the editor of an irregular journal of quantum thought called The Gut, where he has hosted numerous counter-clockwise icons in a "mad dash for anti-fame."

Kopp, who holds a masters of fine arts in writing from Vermont College, is slated to serve as managing editor of dscriber's yet-to-be-named sister site, a collection of fiction, poetry, art and commentary.
